Bolivian Peasant Women Hold First Congress

LA PAZ (Prensa Latina) — The Confederation of Peasant Native Women of Bolivia "Bartolina Sisa", began its First Congress with the approval of a proposal to ensure food security in the country. Julia Ramos, chair of the organization, said that as women it is a must to worry about issues related to the production chain, especially for the use of land and water, as well as showing a constant concern for production.
