On May 14, 2012 OOSKAnews launched the world’s first international daily water news service. “OOSKAnews Daily Water Briefing” marked the company’s move to daily water news delivery, which supplements the company’s market-leading weekly newsletters.
From today, Thursday June 7th, subscribers to “OOSKAnews International Water Weekly” will also receive “OOSKAnews Daily Water Briefing” five days a week. There is no additional cost for upgrades to these subscriptions.
The content in the weekly and daily newsletters is similar -- both publications aggregate water news from OOSKAnews writers in all the regions we cover -- Southern, Central and Eastern Asia; Africa; the Middle East; Eastern Europe; the States of the Former Soviet Union; Latin America and the Caribbean. The difference is in the timeliness.
We appreciate that some customers may prefer to receive only a daily newsletter, or only a weekly newsletter. If this describes you, please let us know, and we shall adjust the settings on your account. If you don’t tell us otherwise, we shall assume that you would like to receive both the daily and weekly newsletters for the remainder of your subscription period.
David Duncan, OOSKAnews Founder and CEO commented: “Our readers consistently tell us that they value the timeliness of our weekly news, so we decided to go one step further. We believe that “OOSKAnews Daily Water Briefing” will be particularly valuable to readers for whom very current water news from challenging geographies is especially important.”
“Daily Water Briefing” and “International Water Weekly” are now both produced in .html format, enabling sophisticated integration, for research purposes, with OOSKAnews’ database of 22,000 water-related news stories dating back to 2006.
As always the company welcomes feedback from readers, which can be sent directly to David Duncan, email@example.com.
