WARSAW, Poland

A new report on water supply and sewage treatment in Poland by the country’s public finance watchdog Najwyzsza Izba Kontroli (NIK), highlights insufficient treatment of wastewater by Polish municipalities.

The report, released in late May, calls for a new strategy to reduce environmental pollution.
