KANDAHAR

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is seeking information on firms capable of taking on major rehabilitation work on two multi-purpose water projects in Afghanistan. The projects include the 33-megawatt Kajaki Dam and the irrigation project at Dahla Dam with three small hydropower generators. Responses on the Kajaki (or Kajakai) Dam on the Helmand River were due on July 7.
