IADB, Oxfam Announce Cooperation

Oxfam and the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) have signed a memorandum of understanding to formalize their commitment to collaborate on key development projects and initiatives to overcome poverty and inequality in Latin America and the Caribbean. Oxfam and the IDB agreed to work jointly on some of the region’s most pressing challenges, in areas such as water and sanitation, solid waste management, disaster risk reduction and adaptation, gender equity and diversity, and climate change and renewable energy, among others. Initially, the partners will focus their collaboration in Bolivia, Colombia, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras and Nicaragua...
