Low Water Levels Reduces Kyrgyzstan Power Export

The CA-NEWS has announced that due to the low water level in 2012, Kyrgyzstan will export to Kazakhstan 1 billion kWh less electricity. As for June 30th, 2012 the water volume in the Toktogul Reservoir amounted to 17 billion cubic meters, which is 2.2 billion cubic meters less than last year, when the volume was 19.2 billion cubic meters. As of June 30th, the volume of electricity exports total
