BRUSSELS, Belgium
Europe’s first citizens’ initiative, “Water Is a Human Right,” has collected more than 1.5 million signatures across the continent, with eight nations surpassing minimum number of signatures required to create a legislative proposal to the European Commission, according to the initiative’s founding organization Right2Water.
