A coalition of civic society and labor groups from 70 countries across the world called the just-concluded 5th World Water Forum "morally and financially bankrupt and without ideas" and demanded that such forums be discontinued in the future.
The harsh words represented a growing movement that wants to make access to clean water a basic universal human right.
