TASHKENT, Uzbekistan

Russia may control the water resources of Central Asia in the future, a deputy of the Kyrgyz Parliament told Kyrgyzstan's legislators in late December, linking her statement to the billions of U.S. dollars the country allocates for construction of hydroelectric plants in Kyrgyzstan.
