BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan

Residents of a Kyrgyz village in the country's southwest are without drinking water due to a conflict between Kyrgyzstan and neighboring Uzbekistan.

On May 29, residents of the Uzbek village of Khushyar in the Ferghana province's Sokh district destroyed a road and a water supply system to the Kyrgyz village of Charbak in the Batken province's Kadamjay district.
