Millions of East Africans are facing devastating food shortages this year in what is shaping up to be the worst drought in decades.

In Geneva, United Nations relief agencies have warned that as many as 10 million people in affected regions of Kenya, Somali, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Djibouti will need water and food in the coming weeks.
