The Water Authority in the Gaza Strip is planning a number of new drinking water and sanitation projects, according to officials.

The first project, which will be implemented by the Turkish Red Crescent, involves rehabilitation of water pipeline networks.

The project will be implemented in eight districts in the troubled territory.
