Kazakh Provinces Commence Sanitation Upgrades

ASTANA, Kazakhstan

East and North Kazakhstan provinces are upgrading their worn and aging sewerage and drainage networks.

Last month Serik Bilyalov, governor of North Kazakhstan province, asked for $12.2 million USD from the national budget to rehabilitate a sewage collector in Petropavlovsk, the province’s capital city.
