Bangkok Urged to Prepare for More Severe Flooding Brought Due to Climate Change

7 Nov 2013- 10:13 by OOSKAnews Correspondent BANGKOK, Thailand Climate change will cause an increase in frequency and severity of storms and rising sea levels, which in turn will increase flooding risks for Bangkok, according to Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) Adviser Bhichit Rattakul.

In collaboration with Global Water Challenge and the United States Water Partnership, OOSKAnews has now synthesized, parsed and packaged this historical data, and stream of current information to create “AquaNow - the World’s Water Data Engine”.

We have transformed OOSKAnews' data into a water-risk and water-opportunity decision support tool for multiple water constituencies, by incorporating sophisticated topic-driven analysis and geographic lenses.
