$187 Million for Supply Projects in Rural Egypt

CAIRO, Egypt

— The Egyptian government has earmarked an additional $187 million USD to connect clean drinking water to rural areas, officials said.

The government allocated $187 million USD last month after a series of protests took place in three northern Egyptian governorates because of water shortages.
