Algerian Desal Contracts Go to Inima and Aqualia

ALGIERS, Algeria

— Algeria has awarded two desalination contracts to Spanish utility firms Inima and Aqualia, according to officials at the Algerian National Investments Development Agency.

The contracts involve construction of seawater desalination facilities in the north of Algeria, in the provinces of Boumerdes and Retizane, the agency said.
