GE Provides Mega Energy for Water Production in Gulf

KUWAIT CITY, KUWAIT

- General Electric (GE), one of the largest contractors in the energy and water sector in the Gulf, has won new $1.8 billion USD contracts to upgrade energy and water production in Kuwait and Qatar.

The deal includes supplying 32 gas turbines and additional equipment for existing plants in the two countries, upgrading energy production by more than 5 gigawatts, according to GE.
