— The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development loaned $20 million to the Egyptian government to build a sewage treatment plant in Al-Shorouk, northeast of the Cairo.
The loan agreement calls for Egypt to repay over 20 years at a 2 percent annual interest rate.
The Egyptian government will get a four-year grace period.
