- The Nairobi City Water and
Sewerage Company has adopted
procedures to stamp out corruption
in its procurement department.
The utility adopted the Public Procurement and Disposal Act of 2005
and the Public Procurement Regulations of 2006 in its procurement and
disposal of assets procedures.
The move is in line with the company's efforts to uphold integrity in the
provision of water and sewerage services, according to Johnson Nyagah,
the company's supply chain manager.
To this end, the company last
year appointed from its senior
and assistant managers a team
of Integrity Assurance Officers
(lAOs) to spearhead its anti-corruption strategy, Nyagah said...
