CAIRO, Egypt

Residents of a number of villages in the Egyptian governorates of Assiut in southern Cairo and Ismailia in the northeastern part of the country are complaining of bad quality drinking water.

In Assiut, the chairman of the Drinking Water and Sanitary Sewers Company admitted the quality of water was bad.
