JOHANNESBURG, South Africa

— South Africa's Water Affairs and Forestry Ministry is still investigating the effects of three jet fuel spillages at the OR Tambo International Airport, which caused significant pollution of surface and ground water.

Minister Lindiwe Hendriks told members of South Africa's Parliament that the investigation into a September 2005 spill at Acsa was still in progress.
