UAE: Abraaj Capital's Fund Closed With $500 Million USD

— The first closing of Abraaj Capital's Infrastructure and Growth Capital Fund concluded with $500 million USD in commitments. On final closing, the fund will have raised $2 billion USD. The fund targets infrastructure investments in water, power and utilities, oil and gas, petrochemicals, industrials and mining, transportation and ports, health care and education. The focus is on taking majority/minority stakes in greenfield projects, growth capital investment opportunities and large-scale privatizations and buyouts.
