UAE Co. Targets Waste Water Treatment Sector

— United Technical Services (UTS), a UAE-based technology services company) will target new sectors for its new improved wastewater treatment system. Instead of focusing on the water sector, the company decided to explore new options in the offshore oil and gas sectors. A new treatment system, which has been developed and set up with Finnish marine environmental specialist EVAC, will be offered throughout the whole Persian Gulf region. Since 1961, UTS, which is based in Abu Dhabi, has been involved in four main business fields related to environmental products and services umbrella. The company is involved in a joint venture with United Technologies company Carrier for air conditioning and environmental controls; a partnership with Sumitomo, Alfa Laval, Yokogawa, Baker Hughes, Halliburton and JC Carter to provide international-quality products and services for the oil and gas industry; distribution of EVAC, MECO and Blucher EuroPipe products for the marine and water treatment industries; and Aramark for the facilities and environmental management sectors...
