Zambian Utility Seeks $50 Million for Capital Re-Investment

— In a bid to improve water supply to households and mining companies and meet growing demand, Kafubu Water and Sewerage Company is seeking over $50 million USD for capital re-investment. The company's commercial director, Austin Kayanda, said the utility needed massive re-investment in order to provide water to households and industrial consumers round the clock. The company has asked the Zambian government and donors to come to its assistance financially in order to improve its services, Kayanda said.
