Zimbabwe: Power Failure Interferes With Water Purification

ZIMBABWE, HARARE

— A power failure at the Darwendale raw water pump stations shut down water treatment at the Morton Jaffray Water Works, which supplies the capital city and surrounding areas.

The Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) said it had managed to clear up the blocked sewers and spillages in highdensity areas of Harare.
