ZIMBABWE, MIDLANDS

— Chronic water problems in Gokwe are driving away potential investors, a government official said.

Commissioning the Gwehava Dam could end the problems, according to Lovemore Mupukuta, the MP for Gokwe Central.

"The problem of water is scaring away potential investors and killing production," Mupukuta said. "It remains one of our biggest challenges to growth and prosperity."
