    Utico FZC has announced stakeholder meetings for Hyflux’s unsecured creditors and preference shareholders to take place in Singapore 20 January. UAE utility Utico is the "white-knight" investor which has long been seen as being in pole position to rescue troubled Singapore environmental services company Hyflux. 

    The meetings have been scheduled to answer stakeholder concerns that have arisen as the consequence of some late interest in Hyflux coming from SIngapore-registerd company Aqua Munda in December. Aqua Munda has made an offer of a discount of 85 percent on the face value of the debt that expires at 5 PM (local time) 23 January.
