Thames Water Ordered To Pay Back $160 Million USD Over Leak Maintenance Failures
Thames Water was ordered on Thursday to pay £120 million back to customers after being found to have breached its licence conditions by failing to properly tackle leaks. Thames Water Fined £20m for Sewage Spill
Thames Water has been fined a record £20m after pumping 1.9 billion litres of untreated sewage into the River Thames. The company admitted water pollution and other offences at sewage facilities in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire following spills in 2013 and 2014.
