ADB Assists Pollution Control Project in China

BEIJING, China

— The Asian Development Bank has recently granted $500,000 USD for the Chinese government to fund its nationwide program to control water pollution.

The "Policy Study on Market-Based Instruments for Water Pollution Control" is estimated to cost $650,000 USD. The government of China will fund the rest of the costs.
