Cambodia Sekong River Dams Raise Environmental Concerns

PHNOM PENH

Cambodia's NGO Forum is calling on developers to closely monitor the environmental effects of projects to build a series of dams on the Sekong River Basin in southern Laos. "We are really concerned about the potential negative effects on Cambodian people living downstream of the proposed dams," said NGO Forum deputy executive director Ngy San.
