China: Chinese, U.S. Scientists Collaborate on Pollution Control

— Chinese and U.S. scientists are collaborating on research into environmental science and technology. China wants to cooperate with the United States in the fields of drinking water safety, urban sewerage recycling, treatment of polluted water, environmental protection monitoring and clean production systems, according to Sun Hong, deputy director of the social development department of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
