China Says Eco-Conservation Efforts Show Results at Major River Sources

China's ecological conservation program for the sources of the Yangtze River, Yellow River and Lancang River has produced results, according to a local conservation official. The program, which began in 2005, covers three Tibet autonomous prefectures: Yushu, Huangnan and Golog in the southern region of China's Qinghai province, according to Li Xiaonan, Deputy Head of the Qinghai office of the three river sources conservation program.
