IBM To Enter Water Solutions, Technology Sector

US-based IBM has announced plans to enter the global water solutions and purification technology market with the launch of a strategic water management solutions services and an energy-efficient membrane technology. The company officially announced its new services and technology during the World Water Forum in the Turkish capital last week. Its new services and technology are aimed at individual users as well as institutions, including government and public utilities. The company said its entry into the new area was a result of ongoing work on technologies as part of the company's global innovation outlook over the past three years...
