Malaysia: Danish, Malaysian Firms Team Up for Water Projects

— Two sets of Danish and Malaysian companies are partnering for water projects in Malaysia. EnviDan A/S of Denmark and Darco Water Systems Sdn Bhd have formed a joint venture focused on technology transfer for wastewater treatment. The venture, finalized in an agreement signed last week, will initially target wastewater in the bio-diesel and palm oil industry, and will eventually expand into other areas of wastewater treatment. The joint venture between Danish Odense Vandselskab A/S and Taliworks (Langkawi) Sdn Bhd will focus on non-revenue water, particularly the management of non-revenue water and energy reduction at waterworks...
