Malaysia: EP Expects Water Meter Sales to Grow

— EP Man facturing Bhd is expecting to see at least 50 percent growth in its electronic water meter business in FY 2008. EP Executive Chairman Hamidon Abdullah said global demand for electronic water meters was growing. Although the company has just started in the water meter business, Abdullah expected meters to bring in some $8.8 million USD in revenues in FY 2007. The company just recently received shareholder approval for its $11.3 million USD acquisition of Circle Ring Network Sdn Bhd, which holds exclusive rights to manufacture electronic water meters designed and sold by Severn Trent Metering Services Ltd...
