The opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) criticized the Finance Ministry's signing last week of a $1 billion USD loan agreement with the EXIM Bank of India for a number of projects mainly for Bangladesh-India connectivity. Besides opposing the country 's taking on new debt, BNP standing committee member MK Anwar said the moves to bolster relations with India
