MANILA, Philippines
— Owners of food establishments in Quezon City have been warned not to dump oil and lard into the city's sewerage system.
The Quezon City government and the Metro Manila Development Authority Flood Control and Sewerage Management Office said dumping these types of substances polluted the city's water tributaries and clogs storm sewers, canals and creeks.
