Vietnam: Eight Urban Centers Get Improved Infrastructure

- Eight urban centers have been identified for an infrastructure upgrade project to improve water supply drainage systems and roads. Dien Bien Phu, Cao Bang, Viet Tri, Hai Duong, Ninh Binh, Kon Turn, Tra Vinh and Ca Mau have been chosen for the infrastructure improvements, as parts of the National Urban Upgrading Program. The projects were announced during a seminar last Thursday, sponsored by the Construction Ministry and the World Bank to present a national strategy on urban upgrades and investment by 2020.
