Water Pollution Dips Slightly in China?

China's efforts to curb water pollution have started to show some results.

The country's environmental watchdog, the State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA), recently released figures for chemical oxygen demand (COD), a key water pollution index.

During the first nine months of the current year, COD slipped 0.28 percent to 10.44 million tons.
