Republic of Congo: Water and Sanitation Project Deal Signed With Libya

BRAZZAVILLE, Republic of Congo

- The Republic of Congo and Libya are planning to sign new cooperation accords covering 2007-2009, including an agreement to construct water and sanitation facilities in five districts in Congo. Other accords deal with energy, mining, economy, education, health, social affairs, defense, industrial development and promotion of the private sector. The accords come at the end of the third session of the Congo-Libya Joint High Commission in Brazzaville. Source: Panapress
