CAIRO, Egypt
Egypt’s Supreme Military Council has approved construction of a desalination plant in the governorate of Marsa Matrouh in northwestern Egypt.
The new plant will have a total capacity of 20,000 cubic meters per day. It is scheduled to be completed within a couple of years, according to Council officials. No financial details were given.
