Oil Spill Pollutes Northwest Chinese River

YAN’AN, China

A landslide caused by severe weather on July 15 cracked open an underground oil pipeline in Yan'an, in northwest China’s Zichang county in Shaanxi province, sending nearly a ton of oil into the Haojiachuan River, according to local officials.
