Flash Floods Kill Nine in Nepal

Flash floods and landslides triggered by torrential rains have killed at least nine people and left six injured in various parts of Nepal over the past two days, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the agency charged with disaster management in Nepal.This week’s deaths bring the number of people killed in water-related disasters in the country during this monsoon season (which started in mid-June) to more than 100.
