Peruvian Ministry Signs Hydropower Contract

The Peruvian Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM) has signed a two-part concession contract with consortium Generadora Electrica Molloco for the development of the 300-MW Molloco hydropower project. According to MEM, the first 24-month phase will see Generadora Electrica Molloco complete studies on the project, which would be followed by a five-year construction phase.
