AMMAN, Jordan

The first phase of a Red Sea-Dead Sea canal project, to be implemented jointly by Jordan, Israel and the Palestinian Authority, will cost $980 million USD, Jordanian Minister of Water and Irrigation Hazem al Nasser said last week.
