Indo-Turkish Consortium Is Lowest Bidder for Pakul Dul Hydropower Project in Kashmir

A consortium of India’s Patel Engineering Limited, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. and Turkey’s Limak Holding has emerged as the lowest bidder for the 1,000-megawatt Pakal Dul hydroelectric project in Indian-administered Kashmir, Patel Engineering said in a statement on February 7. The consortium’s bid was $1.4 billion USD.
