John Chisi, the presidential candidate for Malawi’s opposition Umodzi Party, has pledged that if he wins in the May 20 general elections his government will “defend Malawi’s  boundaries” and stop “wasting time” on negotiations with neighboring Tanzania over disputed Lake Malawi.
