KAMPALA, Uganda

The Ugandan government has signed a $44.7 million USD loan agreement from the World Bank’s Cooperation in International Waters for Africa (CIWA) multi-donor trust fund and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) to construct a major multi-purpose dam in the country’s Tororo district.
