Laos Has Started Construction of Don Sahong Dam: International Rivers

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia

Work is already under way at the site of Laos’ controversial Don Sahong Dam, on the Mekong River near the border with Cambodia, according to environmental NGO International Rivers. The organization recently sent a team to the site of the proposed dam and found that developers were building a bridge that will create access for construction crews.
