Glacier melt in the Himalayan Mountains has the potential to increase tensions between China, India and Pakistan -- all of which receive a significant portion of their freshwater from rivers that originate in the Himalayas, according to a new briefing from the Institute for Environmental Security (IES), the Global Military Advisory Council on Climate Change and the University of Cambridge.
